I was reading a whole bunch of studies and reports recently and thought that I should share some of the things that I came across.
- A study showed that mental health interventions could reduce inflammation in the body and reduce Inflammatory Bowel Disease symptoms.
- People in mid-life should make sure that they're consuming at least 0.8g of protein per kg of body weight and focus on plant protein sources. This correlates with healthy aging, which we all want!
- Vegan diet can reduce hot flashes in post menopausal people by altering the gut microbiome.
- Healthy lifestyle (exercise, low alcohol consumption, and lots of fruit & veggies) is linked to better cognition in later life.
- Vitamin D & Omega 3s may help prevent auto-immune disease
