How are you???
How are you doing??? The pandemic has been going for almost 6 months now and I thought that it was time to do another check in with everyone. This has been a hard time emotionally (not only because of the pandemic of course!) and physically for many people, and I want you to know that I'm here to help in any way I can. I've been back in the Rebalance office in downtown Toronto for almost 3 months, and I'm so happy to be seeing patients in-person and virtually.
As most of you know, I'm far from perfect. Like everyone else, I've been up and down on my self care during the past 6 months. I started out strong, and then had a minor injury that really threw my exercise routine off track. I've also been trying to get out of the city and into nature (my happy place!) as much as possible, and weekends away also throw off my routine. The thing I'm doing well at is being gentle with myself. I'm not perfect, I have ups and downs, and I'm working on being okay with that too. It's my goal that as of September I'll going to get back at my exercise routine - so feel free to ask me how it's going.

I do feel fortunate to have so much knowledge and so many tools to help myself when I'm not feeling great. This state of chronic stress and uncertainty is hard on most of us, and people are getting tapped out and don't have the same reserves to help them deal the way they're used to. I'm working really hard to take care of myself so that I'm up to the challenge of helping those of you who need it too!
